PROSCIUTTINO TRIESTINO - In bread crust
It is a tradition, on feast days, to enjoy the Trieste ham with or without bread crust.
For a perfect preparation we give you the following suggestions:
- remove the Trieste ham from the plastic wrapper in which it is contained;
- bake in a ventilated oven at 150 degrees for about 20 minutes;
- serve cut into slices about one centimeter thick, accompanied by freshly grated horseradish, mustard and rennet apple sauce.
If you want to cook the ham wrapped in bread crust:
- remove the Trieste ham from the plastic wrapper in which it is contained;
- prepare the bread dough with water, salt and flour;
- wrap the Trieste ham in the bread dough and bake in a ventilated oven at 160 degrees for about an hour and a half;
- serve cut into slices accompanied by fresh grated horseradish and mustard.
